2 You’ll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to plan and prepare for your “One-Day Website Experience”.
3 Once you have completed your prep work, schedule your “One-Day Website Experience”.
4 On our scheduled website date, we connect over Skype so that I can get to know you a bit and ask you any questions I need answered to move ahead with your design. We’ll spend the day on/off Skype where I’ll share my progress with you, and you’ll provide real-time feedback.
5 Once the site is complete or we reach a stopping point for the day, I’ll hand the site over to you as well as providing a video tour and additional resources to support you so that you can manage and grow your website on your own.
6 You’ll have email access to ask me any questions for one week after I’ve handed your website over (I’m available after that, but any additional work or consulting would be considered a separate project).
7 You’ll begin rocking the interwebs with your gorgeous new website.

If you know yourself to be quite particular about branding and/or you are wanting more time spent to explore various styles and options or you know you want something with lots of layers/textures/multi-dimensional magic (see example, and another) or if you want a logo that is more complex than a text-based logo, then I’d suggest booking the option that includes custom branding.
With the custom branding option, you’ll work together with my design team before we schedule your website day to create a custom logo and full brand style guide. This is an amazing deal and well worth it.

CAN YOU BUILD MY WEBSITE IN SQUARESPACE / WIX / ETC?
BUT EVERYONE SAYS SQUARESPACE IS AWESOME?
As far as managing and growing your website, the theme we will use (Divi) offers all the benefits and ease of Square Space (plus so much more). They’ve added a drag-and-drop editor in the last year that works just like Squarespace’s editor (but better, in my opinion). You get the best of both worlds with no limitations.

I was so focused on building a successful business that I hadn’t given much thought to how I liked to work and what sort of business I actually wanted to run.
The short version of the story: I went from running a thriving business I loved to totally burning out and deciding to shut down my business and re-think everything. I spent most of the last two years in website retirement/sabbatical focusing on healing my body, mind, and spirit. I was done with websites.
Best. Decision. Ever.
Then, a few weeks ago, something unexpected happened. I was in Guatemala, and a dear friend of mine asked me who I’d recommend to create a website for her. Before I could even think, the words, “I would love to create a website for you” came out of my mouth (say what?! talk about unexpected!)
She was leaving in a few days, and we didn’t have much time so I gave her a bit of prep work to do and told her to come to my house the next day, and we’d spend the day creating her website.
She showed up, and I felt ‘nudged’ to take her through a guided meditation to really SEE the energy behind her work and the brand/website that wanted to emerge (Ummm, have you met me? I have literally NEVER taken anyone through a guided meditation…. and this just happened, and it was AMAZING. It was like the colors and fonts for the website just revealed themselves).
Then we got down to business. I’d create a bit. Stop. Ask her for feedback. Makes some changes. Take a cacao break. Do a bit more. Rinse, repeat. The day finished, and we had co-created a gorgeous (and totally HER) website. It was so easy (not to mention a lot of fun!)
Reflecting on this experience, I realized that when I shut down my website business, I’d thrown the baby out with the bathwater.
I actually LOVE creating websites. What I didn’t love in my business was managing a large team and taking on projects that would drag on (and I’d totally lose my creative mojo and inspiration). My joy (and my gift) has always been in being super present with clients, SEEing them (specifically seeing their divine gifts and what’s wanting to emerge) and creating IMMEDIATELY from that place of inspiration. Not tomorrow, not in a month… NOW (my mojo wanes quickly, ladies).
So… I’m trying something new. Websites, in a day. Before I announce this to the world (or even on my Facebook page or email list), I want to feel it out a bit more which is why I created a “Friends and Family” offer.
